What would the ideal Nordic society look like? What if we could take the best elements from each Nordic country—perhaps education from one, innovation from another, and social policies from a third—and combine them into a single model society?
And why stop there? If Canada joined the mix, together we would form the world’s fourth-largest economic region. Imagine what we could achieve through closer cooperation.
This discussion is, of course, a thought experiment. But it also raises a serious question: what could we accomplish if we worked more closely together in areas such as defence, the economy, education and culture, or environmental policy?
